Dr. Ron McMullen
Optometrists are university-trained health care practitioners, specializing in examining, diagnosing, and treating diseases and disorders of the visual system and related structures. They are your primary eye and vision health doctors.
Dr. McMullen is a local resident, born and raised in Claremont, just south of Uxbridge. He graduated from the School of Optometry at the University of Waterloo in 1986 and has been in Uxbridge ever since. He is dedicated to providing quality care for all ages, and always puts YOUR needs first.
Dr. McMullen is also certified in Ocular Therapeutics, or the prescribing of medication for eye diseases. The Ontario government has recently enacted legislation that allows optometrists to treat eye diseases by writing prescriptions.
Ophthalmologists and Other Specialists
For patients that require extra or specialized medical or surgical care, Dr. McMullen is able to arrange appointments with a network of ophthalmologists and other specialists in the area.
Bright, Modern Office
Our office is located in downtown Uxbridge in a building with plenty of parking.
We provide full eye examination services for children, adults and seniors and have a bright display area with a large selection of quality frames for those who need glasses. We have up-to-date equipment, including the latest in no-drop, no-puff eye pressure measurements.
